Jared Kushner is the key person of the White House’s efforts to broker an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal, though he has been embroiled in various controversies.

Israeli PM will be glad to see Ivanka and Jared in Jerusalem

Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the Israeli foreign ministry will host a reception for Ivanka and Jared coming to Israel on the occasion of the US embassy dedication. Besides Kushner-Trump couple, several senior US officials are expected to attend Jerusalem embassy opening, but the US embassy in Tel Aviv said it was “still working on [the] guest list and invites”.

In fact, there are no details regarding the planned visit of the White House aides to Jerusalem for the festivities dedicated to the opening the US Embassy. The only detail is an official dedication ceremony for the embassy in Israel will be held on May 14 — the civil date of Israel’s 70th birthday.

“Initially, the interim embassy in Arnona will contain office space for the ambassador [David Friedman] and a small staff. By the end of next year, we will complete the construction of additional office space in the Arnona compound that will provide the ambassador and his team with expanded interim capacity,”
