May expressed hope that the split in Britain will be resolved with the arrival of a new prime minister

Former British Prime Minister Theresa May suggested that the new head of the Cabinet will have to get rid of the split in the country and the party.

On Thursday, July 7, Boris Johnson, who replaced May as prime minister, announced his resignation. At the same time, he will continue to act until a new head of government is appointed.

“I think that the main thing that the prime minister should do is to eliminate the split – in the country and, speaking of conservatives, in the party. And I fear that what has happened in recent years is that we have seen people become more and more divided,” May said during a speech at the Institute of Management.
