Landlords deny housing to Ukrainian refugee families in the UK

In the UK, a landlord expelled a family of Ukrainian refugees from his home. Now parents with many children and two elderly women are denied housing.

The family of a 36-year-old Ukrainian arrived in the UK in May. The refugees agreed that the officer would provide them with housing for six months under the state program, but after a few weeks they were forced to leave the housing.

As the head of the family said, despite the organized fundraising, which gave the family the opportunity to accumulate a decent amount, they are constantly denied rental housing.

Refugees are afraid to be on the street, as they sent out 15 applications for housing, but they were refused everywhere. According to the man, he understands that the reason for the refusal may be that the family has five small children and two elderly grandmothers. But, as the Ukrainian noted, they are refused, saying that the tenants have allegedly already been found.

Now four lawyers are trying to help parents with many children. They hope to find not only a home for their family members, but also a job.
