German official Kramer said that the country is waiting for mass protests and riots in the winter

Due to rising prices, aggression and social tensions, mass protests and riots could hit Germany this winter. This was stated by the head of the Thuringian department for the protection of the constitution, Stefan Kramer.

The official also predicted Germany the possibility of terrorist attacks in order to carry out a coup d’état.

“Both the Ukrainian conflict, and economic existential fear in connection with the energy crisis, and general dissatisfaction with everything and everyone are playing an increasing role,” he said.

Earlier it became known that German politicians urged the government to launch the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, as they were afraid that abandoning it would lead to an energy crisis and mass protests. For example, Frank Bommert, deputy head of the CDU parliamentary group in the Landtag of Brandenburg, believes that popular unrest will begin if the solution of this issue is delayed.
