Millions of Britons will not be able to pay for heating and groceries this winter. Mayor of London Sadiq Khan wrote about this on August 20 on his Twitter page.

“For many, it will be a choice between heating and food – sadly, they will not be able to afford either one or the other,” he shared his opinion.

According to the mayor of London, this has never happened before in the UK. The government must intervene so that people can meet their basic needs, Sadiq Khan stressed.
