Serbian President Vucic announced the demand of France and Germany to “solve the problem of Kosovo”

France and Germany demanded that Belgrade “solve the problem of Kosovo” as soon as possible.

According to him, the demand was put forward with the support of the United States and Turkey.

“As they [France and Germany] said, they advocated the need to solve the“ Kosovo problem ”during the war in Europe,” Vucic said as part of an address to the nation following a meeting of the country’s Security Council on the results of the verdicts with a delegation from the European Union.

On September 9, Adviser to the German Chancellor Jens Pletner, Adviser to the President of France Emmanuel Bonn, as well as the EU Special Representative for the Western Balkans Miroslav Lajcak visited Serbia and Kosovo. They intended to explore all options for moving forward in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina. The delegation met with the Prime Minister of the unrecognized Kosovo, Albin Kurti, after which they went to Serbia to negotiate with Vucic.
Earlier, Vucic said that Serbia refuses to change its position on sanctions against Russia, despite pressure from other states.

“I could write a thicker book than [Karl] Marx’s Capital about it. We continue to adhere to our policy,” he said.
