Specialists are investigating cases of harassment in the British Navy.

British First Sea Lord Sir Ben Kee said experts were investigating alleged cases of sexual harassment and violence against women on submarines.

On Friday, allegations of bullying, insults, physical violence and sexual harassment against women serving on submarines became known. In particular, according to sources of the publication, in one of these cases, men compiled a list of women in the crew, which indicated in what order they would be raped if their ship was threatened with an imminent catastrophe.

“Sexual abuse and harassment has no place in the Royal Navy and will not be tolerated. I have sent a team of senior specialists to thoroughly investigate these allegations. All perpetrators will be punished regardless of their rank or status,” Key said on his Twitter page.
