Immediately in five regions of Azerbaijan, there are problems with gas supply that arose as a result of heavy snowfalls – 5,000 subscribers were left without gas, the press service of the Azerigaz production association reported.

Unstable weather conditions have been observed in a number of regions of Azerbaijan over the past few days.

“Due to a sharp cold snap in the Imishli, Guba, Gusar, Lerik, Astara regions, a gas supply failure occurred in a number of villages.Azerigaz PA has mobilized all the possibilities for uninterrupted gas supply to subscribers in cold weather. Severe weather conditions impede intensive work, but, despite this, serious steps are being taken towards solving the problem of 5,000 subscribers left without gas,” the production association said in a statement.
