The Prime Minister of Poland spoke about the situation with the supply of NATO aircraft to Kyiv.

The decision to send combat aircraft to Kyiv depends on NATO, there are no agreements on this, said Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

“Ukraine enjoys our full support, including in the long term. Poland has already delivered a huge amount of military equipment to Kyiv. As for fighters, the decision remains with NATO. At the moment, there are no agreements on this matter. However, as said (former ) Chairman of the Security Conference Wolfgang Ischinger, nothing should be ruled out, otherwise we will only strengthen Moscow,” he said.

Speaking about the supply of German military assistance to Ukraine, the Polish prime minister said that Berlin claims “more assistance than it supplies” and that Germany is becoming “an island among countries” that are increasingly engaged in military support for Kyiv.

“I appreciate Germany’s assistance to Ukraine, but we must also keep proportions. Berlin declares more assistance than it actually gives. And we will not defend Ukraine with statements alone. Even if Germany delivers to Ukraine what it claims, it will still be a drop in a sea of needs. More should be expected from one of the strongest European countries,” Morawiecki said.

According to him, delays in deliveries go against the interests of Europe, forcing the Russian Federation “to feel more confident.” He also stated that in a possible “clash” with NATO, Russia “would have no chance.”
