Israeli police detained 350 people at the Al-Aqsa mosque.

At least 350 people were arrested at the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.


Earlier, Palestinian media wrote that dozens of Palestinians were injured in clashes with Israeli security forces at the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Riyad al-Ashkar, a spokesman for the Committee on Palestinian Prisoners Affairs, told reporters that Israel had detained more than 200 Palestinians as a result of the raid in Al-Aqsu. Israel’s actions have already been condemned by Jordan and Egypt.


In March, Palestine and Israel agreed during a security meeting in Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh to establish a mechanism to combat violence. The meeting held in Egypt was the second in such a format recently. At the end of February, a five-party meeting was held in Aqaba, Jordan, with the participation of Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Israel and the United States in order to stop the escalation and tension between Israel and the Palestinians. As a result of that meeting, Palestine and Israel agreed to comply with all signed agreements, the Israeli side promised to stop discussing the construction of new settlements in the West Bank within four months.
