An earthquake hit Turkey’s Adana.

An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 was registered in the Turkish province of Adana, the Disaster Management Authority (AFAD) said.

According to the ministry on Twitter, the earthquake was registered in the morning April 26th.


The source of tremors lay at a depth of 7 kilometers.


Earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 occurred on February 6 with an interval of nine hours in the province of Kahramanmaras in southeastern Turkey. Tremors were felt in 11 provinces of the country and neighboring states, including Syria. The Turkish authorities have called the earthquake “the catastrophe of the century.” The death toll from the February 6 earthquake in southeastern Turkey reached 50.7 thousand people.
