Blinken called China the only country capable to change the world order

Washington seriously views the People’s Republic of China (PRC) as the most serious long-term challenge to the current international order. This was announced on Thursday, May 26, by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

“China is the only country that has both the intention to change the international order and the growing economic, diplomatic, military and technological power to do so,” the US State Department press service quoted him as saying.

He also pointed out that the US and China “will have to deal with each other,” so Washington is ready to expand direct communication with Beijing on a number of issues. ⠀

Earlier in the day, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg indicated that China was attempting to control critical Western infrastructure.

On May 21, the head of the Committee of National Staffs of the US Armed Forces, Mark Milley, during a speech at West Point Academy, announced the rapid increase in conflict between world powers.

According to him, America is no longer the undisputed world power, as its dominance is experienced by Russia, China and North Korea, as well as instability and terrorism in the Middle East and Africa.

On May 19, Chinese President Xi Jinping, in an address to the participants of the meeting of the BRICS foreign ministers (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa), called on them to resist the policy of force. The Chinese President called on the BRICS to promote stability and bring positive energy into the changing international relations.
