Chinese Defense Minister Wei: Beijing has never provided material assistance to Russia

China did not provide material assistance to Russia. This was stated by a member of the State Council, Minister of Defense of the People’s Republic of China Wei Fenghe.

He clarified that since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, Beijing has not “never provided any material support.”
On June 10, Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Wu Qian promised that China would fight back if the situation in Ukraine was used to harm the Asian country. He pointed out that Beijing has always adhered to an objective and fair position on the Ukrainian issue, and also made active efforts to promote peace and advance negotiations.
