Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said that a meeting of delegations from Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Nations on the export of Ukrainian grain will be held in Istanbul on July 13.

“Tomorrow, Istanbul will host a meeting of military delegations from Turkey, the Russian Federation, Ukraine and UN representatives on the issue of exporting grain by sea from the ports of Ukraine to international markets,” he said.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Navy said that foreign ships began to arrive at the country’s river ports on the Danube to load grain.

The day before, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.

Among the issues discussed by the parties was the settlement of the problem of creating a safe corridor in the Black Sea for the export of grain to the world market.

Prior to this, Erdogan spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the conversation, politicians also considered the issues of “creating safe corridors for grain exports in the Black Sea.”
