Exchange gas prices in Europe on Monday, for the first time since June 14, fell below $1,000 per thousand cubic meters and are losing 14%, according to data from the London ICE exchange.

Trading on Monday futures contracts on the TTF index opened at around 1099.4 dollars (-4.5%). In the first hours, prices hovered just above $1,000, losing about 10%. However, in the afternoon they accelerated the pace of decline. So far, the price minimum is $986.3 per thousand cubic meters (-14.3%). Right now gas futures are trading at $990.7 (-13.9%). The dynamics is based on the settlement price of Thursday, the previous trading day – $1,150.9 per thousand cubic meters.
