Poland calls for eurozone reform

To restore equality of all EU members, it is necessary to reform the entire European area. This was announced on Monday by Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau.

According to him, the reform should exclude any possibility of temporary or permanent refusal of one of the countries of the political bloc from the common European currency.

“The momentum for reform and the direction of change must come from the member states and not from the institutions of the EU,” Rau said.

In addition, the head of the Foreign Ministry stressed that the introduction of a single currency should ensure sustainable and harmonious development.

Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that after the end of hostilities in Ukraine, Europeans will need to get rid of imperialism within the EU.
