Putin takes a spin on F1 track with Egyptian president

Vladimir Putin and his Egyptian counterpart were shown the new Senat limousine manufactured by Russian luxury car brand Aurus. Both leaders have taken a spin on F1 after finishing the discussion of the latest developments, SkyNews reported.

During the ride, Aurus limo’s 4.4-litre V8 hybrid powerplant takes the Senat 0-60 mph in less than six seconds, rather impressive result. This time Vladimir Putin opted to take the wheel and to demonstrate Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi the power of the Russin automobile industry.

For his inauguration in May, Mr Putin was chauffeured in a stretched version of the Senat, which boasts ‘uncompromising’ levels of ballistic and explosive protection.

Mr Putin said after the talks in the Black Sea resort of Sochi that he and el-Sissi discussed the issue and Egyptian officials have done “everything necessary to enhance flight security.” The visit of the Egyptian leader to Moscow was very fruitful, presidents have signed another partnership treaty, that capped a three-day visit to Russia by the Egyptian leader.

This week’s trip was el-Sissi’s fourth to Russia since he took office in 2014. Putin visited Egypt in 2015 and 2017.
