Switzerland will introduce restrictive measures during the conference on Ukraine.

Switzerland will introduce restrictive measures on roads and in the airspace during the peace conference on Ukraine on June 15 and 16 near the city of Lucerne, the representative of the canton of Niewalden, Armin Eberli said.

“For an event of this magnitude, security restrictions are inevitable. It is therefore assumed that restrictions will be imposed on the public immediately before and during the conference, for example on road traffic, pedestrian routes and airspace. Active surveillance will be carried out control measures will be taken over the conference venue and surrounding area, and along access routes,” he said.

Eberly added that specific restrictions for the general public are currently being developed and will be communicated at the appropriate time.
