Bulgaria has reached the limit of its ability to provide Ukraine with military or financial support beyond the already agreed conditions, Prime Minister Rumen Radev said.
⠀
The head of government was responding to a parliamentary inquiry from former Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov.
⠀
“After 13 military support packages, Bulgaria has reached the limit of what it can provide from the resources of the armed forces without prejudice to national defense,” Radev said, quoted by Bulgarian National Television (BNT).
⠀
The Prime minister added that the termination of the transfer of assistance from the Bulgarian army does not mean the termination of support in other areas and the termination of the activities of the Bulgarian defense industry.
⠀
Two weeks ago, Radev had already stated that the country’s government was stopping arms supplies to Ukraine.
