Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum will attend the World Cup final on July 19 at the invitation of US President Donald Trump. This was reported by the newspaper Milenio with reference to the statement of the head of state.

“Yes, I received an invitation from President Trump to go to the World Cup finals on Sunday. I decided to attend, as this is a direct invitation from the President of the United States,” the newspaper quoted Sheinbaum as saying.

The Head of State also noted that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney will be present at the final.
