The majority of Polish residents spoke out against accepting refugees from Ukraine for the first time, according to a sociological study conducted by the CBOS laboratory.

Since 2022, in regular CBOS opinion polls, the majority of Poles have consistently advocated that Ukrainian refugees continue to come to their country.

In the latest survey, 52% of respondents said that Poland should not accept refugees from areas of Ukraine affected by the armed conflict.

At the same time, 42% of the survey participants were in favor of continuing to accept Ukrainian refugees.
In addition, 54% of respondents believe that the assistance provided to refugees from Ukraine is too great.

The opposite opinion is shared by 40% of respondents, who rate it as adequate, and 3% consider it too small.

The study was conducted from July 2 to July 12 with a representative sample of 938 Polish adults. No error data is provided.
