The EU energy market is no longer working, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez told the UN General Assembly.

“Now the energy system of Europe is a market that does not function,” the politician said.


At the same time, the Spanish prime minister criticized the launch of coal-fired power plants by some EU countries. EU members should not pause their efforts to move towards cleaner energy sources, Sanchez stressed.
