Turkey is going to discuss with NATO the use of S-300 air defense systems by Greece

Turkey intends to discuss with NATO the issue of the alleged use by Greece of the S-300 missile system against Turkish fighters.

“This will be discussed at meetings with both the US and NATO. The planes have a recording function, and there are records, the evidence will be transferred to the appropriate authorities … While we are told that you cannot use Russian-made weapons, Greece is pursuing the planes of a NATO member country … Let’s see what NATO has to say about this situation ” – says the Turkish representatives.

Ankara also notes the inaction of NATO and the European Union, which did not express their opinion on what happened. Turkey believes that this is a manifestation of double standards.

Earlier it was reported that Greek S-300 air defense systems were used to pursue Turkish F-16 fighters. It happened on August 23 in international airspace in the Aegean and Mediterranean seas. However, Greece categorically denied these reports.
