Hope Hicks resigns as White House communications director

Hope Hicks preferred to resign as White House communications director immediately after nine-hour-long testify as part of the panel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

The official statement of the White House confirmed the resignation of Ms Hicks on Wednesday, she is the fourth person to serve as communications chief for this administration. The 29-year-old communications director had to testify, probably, her answers were not compatible with the job description.  The panel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election is going on.

“There are no words to adequately express my gratitude to President Trump,”

Hope Hicks said in a statement.

“I wish the President and his administration the very best as he continues to lead our country.”

Hope was Trump’s longest-serving political aide who worked earlier at the Trump Organization, she is a friend of Ivanka, too. Ms Hicks had served as the press secretary for Trump’s insurgent presidential campaign before taking on similar duties in the White House.  Donald Trump’s statement reads:

“She is as smart and thoughtful as they come, a truly great person. I will miss having her by my side but when she approached me about pursuing other opportunities, I totally understood. I am sure we will work together again in the future.”

Hick’s appointment was rather controversial, she is an ex-model who had no political experience at all when she joined Trump’s tumultuous presidential race. Despite the lack of experience, Hope quickly rose as one of his closest confidantes, ranking among the few aides to develop an understanding of Trump’s brash persona and unpredictable temperament.
