The updated ranking of the top 100 leading companies in the world did not include German enterprises

German companies are no longer among the top 100 global companies with the highest capitalization, Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten said.

According to journalists, the key reason for such economic metamorphosis was the energy crisis in the country. Now companies SAP and Telecom are only on the 113th and 120th places respectively.

The energy crisis in Germany worsened against the backdrop of Berlin’s anti-Russian policy. According to the head of the Federal Network Agency of Germany, Klaus Muller, the country will not be able to survive the upcoming heating season without Russian gas – the stocks of raw materials in underground storage facilities are too small.
