In Belarus, they announced the readiness of the army to respond to provocations.

Belarusian troops are ready to respond to possible provocations in the western and northwestern directions, said the Minister of Defense of the Republic, Lieutenant-General Viktor Khrenin.

He noted that measures are envisaged to prevent military provocations in the border area.

“Troops and forces on a rotational basis perform the relevant tasks on the southern borders of our country. We are also ready to respond to possible provocations in the western and northwestern directions,” the press service of the Belarusian defense ministry quoted Khrenin as saying.

The Minister recalled that the tasks of combat duty are being carried out in an enhanced mode.

“Reconnaissance in all its forms is constantly being conducted. The exchange of intelligence information with our allies has been organized,” Khrenin added.
