The United States is trying to revise Biden’s refusal to supply fighter jets to Ukraine.

The US administration has not worked out the issue of deliveries of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, and President Joe Biden’s words that there will be none should not be interpreted as a permanent given, media reports citing an unnamed official.

Biden previously answered “no” to a question from journalists whether F-16s would be delivered to the Ukrainian military.

“However, a U.S. official … said that “there were no serious high-level discussions about the F-16.” In other words, it does not appear that Biden’s statement is the result of a study of the issue and is rather the current position of the highest decision-making authority,” it is said in the publication.

The media previously reported that certain representatives of the US administration are lobbying for the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to the Ukrainian military.

The United States is constantly expanding and complicating the range of weapons supplied to Ukraine, reaching modern armored vehicles, strike systems and air defense systems of Western production.
