Apple has sued OpenAI and two of its former employees

The American corporation Apple has sued OpenAI and two of its former employees, accusing them of allegedly stealing trade secrets, according to the statement of claim.

“At every level, from members of the technical staff to the director of hardware, and in collaboration with business partners, OpenAI stole Apple’s trade secrets and confidential information,” the document says.

The company also accused two of its former employees of passing confidential information to OpenAI.

Apple is asking the court to prohibit the defendants from using and disclosing its trade secrets and confidential information, oblige them to return the company’s property and terminate access to its secrets.


In addition, the corporation demands compensation for damages, compensation for the benefits received by the defendants, as well as punitive damages and payment of court costs.
