Estonia has begun negotiations on the supply of long-range missiles

The Estonian authorities have begun negotiations with a number of companies on the supply of long-range missiles, including those that can be launched from the HIMARS MLRS, the ERR television and radio company reports.

“The Ministry of Defense has started negotiations with several companies on the supply of long-range missiles. For example, the Barracuda cruise missile, which can be launched from the HIMARS installation,” the report says.

According to the head of the Estonian Ministry of Defense, Hanno Pevkur, Tallinn is interested in acquiring the Barracuda missile from the American company Anduril Industries.

“This is one of the possible options… However, the decision will depend on the price and the needs of the Estonian Defense Forces,” ERR quoted Pevkur as saying.
