Google Play has removed the applications of several Russian banks

Several applications of Russian banks that fell under the sanctions were removed by the Google Play mobile applications.

The store does not have programs of credit institutions “St. Petersburg”, “Uralsib”, “Primorye”, “Levoberezhny”, “Zenith”, SDM-bank, UBRD, Lanta-bank and Metallinvestbank.
In February, these banks came under US blocking sanctions, prohibiting US entities and individuals from any transactions with them. In early March, some of these apps were also removed from the App Store.
