In Bavaria, an unknown person took hostages in a bank

An unknown person took hostages in a bank branch in Bavaria, one person was injured, the BR24 TV channel reported on Thursday, citing police.

“As a result of hostage-taking at a bank branch in the west of Regensburg (federal state of Bavaria), one person was seriously injured. Presumably, the attacker is a man armed with a knife,” the report says.

Law enforcement officers completely cordoned off the territory.
