The Yemeni army has attacked Houthi military positions in the north of the country

The army of the internationally recognized government of Yemen has attacked military positions of the Shiite Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement in northern Yemen, a military source said on Saturday.

“The airstrikes targeted military positions and reinforcements of the Ansar Allah group in the areas of Al-Juba, Al-Safra and Majzar in the provinces of Saada and Marib in northern Yemen,”  a source in Yemeni military circles said.

In turn, the Yemeni state-owned pro-government TV channel reported that Houthi positions were subjected to airstrikes in several areas in the provinces of Marib and Al-Jawf in northern Yemen. This happened against the background of the Houthis’ statement about the attack on oil refineries in Saudi Arabia after the attacks of the Saudi Air Force on Hodeidah province on Saturday night.
