Ukraine accuses Georgia of self-interest due to refusal to support sanctions

Mykhailo Podolyak, Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, accused the Georgian government of self-interest due to its refusal to support anti-Russian sanctions.

“Principles are more important than profit. What is important to you?” he addressed the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili.

Georgia has previously voiced that it is not going to join the sanctions and follow the lead of the West, because they will make things worse for themselves and harm themselves more than Russia. Based on the survey, this decision of Georgia is supported by about 70% of citizens.
