George Clooney donates £1,000 to save Victorian village hall in Berkshire

George Clooney is definitely kind-hearted man, he is caring about the local architecture heritage – Victorian village hall in Berkshire. That is the place where the Hollywood star and his wife decided to live. Mr Clooney made his own contribution to save Dunsden Village Hall, donating £1,000 to help £400,000 battle. 

George Clooney lives in the village of Sonning, together with his wife Amal he has bolstered a renovation of Dunsden Village Hall. The ‘Ocean’ star made his £1,000 donation to the community drive, the local initiative is going to save old village hall.

George’s contribution to the £400,000 scheme is set to drastically improve facilities at the cherished community asset, and the actor is really happy to be a part of this small and active British community. The generous donation of Clooney will be added to the proceeds of an auction of promises to be held on Saturday June 10 at the local Loddon Brewery.

George Clooney as soon-to-be father

George’s wife Amal is expecting the twins in June, the big day is close as never before, so the 55-year-old actor feels a bit nervous, his friends say. Despite all his fears, George will be a good father, believes Julia Roberts who knows actor many years.

Clooney’s another close friend, Brad Pitt, thinks the same way – George and Amal will be perfect parents, both them did their best to build the careers, now it is the right time to become parents.

The contribution of Clooney into the campaign on renovation of old village hall i highly appreciated by local community. The village hall’s revamp will also include the widening the main hall with a sun-room leading to a new terrace which will increase capacity from 60 to 100 people. Maybe, the next generation of Clooney will be among them too!
