The Duchess of Cornwall commented the wedding of Harry and Meghan, saying that event was really uplifting and beautiful. But Windsor family drama is not over, the royals wonder what will happen next.

Camilla was at the headquarters of Independent Television News (ITN) to mark the 21st anniversary of its 5 News programme, which attracts 2.5 million viewers every week. Speaking to journalists, Prince Charles’s wife Camilla admitted that even the royal family hadn’t been sure ‘what would happen next’ after the controversial Harry’s choice.

The youngest son of Prince Charles and Lady Diana preferred not to sign the nuptials, breaking the royal tradition. In her interview to 5 News in London, Camilla appeared to refer to the remarkable series of events that happened in the run-up to Saturday’s royal wedding.

On the run-up to the wedding, Meghan’s half-sister Samantha also reportedly disrupted the peace of mind of the bride-to-be, claiming the American actress cut most members of the family out of her life and saying she was trying to censor her. Her brother also wrote an epic letter to Prince Harry describing sister as a golddigger and amoral person.

Duchess Camilla had already expressed her happiness for the successful outcome of the wedding. She said with relief:

‘It’s nice to have something that is uplifting rather than depressing.’

The absence of Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, was strange as well his changing mind several times. But the wedding ceremony was just perfect, according to Duchess Camilla.

Later, she even sat in on the morning’s editorial conference, which was discussing an interview she had given on the issue of domestic violence to the programme’s royal correspondent.
