Former US President Joe Biden is undergoing treatment for metastatic cancer, he has become noticeably weakened, the Washington Post reports, citing sources close to Biden.
⠀
In October 2025, it became known that Biden had undergone radiation and hormone therapy as part of the treatment of prostate cancer.
⠀
“18 months after leaving the White House, the 83-year-old former president is moving in a tight circle of relatives, old friends and longtime aides, undergoing treatment for metastatic cancer. The treatment seems to be working, but the disease and the effects of its treatment have made him noticeably weakened,” the report says.

According to the newspaper, Biden’s entourage describes his post-presidency life as shackled by illness, and his days are increasingly focused around treatment, family, and legacy-building efforts.
