Elphinstone railway station stampede: 80 injured and 27 dead

The Elphinstone stampede was triggered after falling concrete hit the overpass railing. According to Mumbai police, the leading people in the crowd to surge forward to escape because they feared the bridge would collapse. The tragedy took lives of 27 people, injured more than 80, said the local police.
