ISIS wing claims responsibility for Minnesota mall attack

ISIS wing claims responsibility for the stabbing nine people in the shopping mall in Minnesota. The attacker was of Somali descent, he stabbed nine people at the mall before being shot dead by an off-duty police officer. 

ISIS-related attack in Minnesota was called by FBI “a potential act of terrorism,” local police are trying to get to the bottom of his motivations. The summer series of similar attacks was registered in Europe, and St. Cloud Police Chief William Blair Anderson told CNN Sunday he was unable to confirm if the mall stabbings were anything more than a lone attack.

The town of St. Cloud where live 67,000-person, situated about 65 miles northwest of Minneapolis. Police said that Minneapolis has the largest immigrant Muslim communities, last year Minnesota residents conflicted many times with the Muslims. But members of the Muslim and Somali communities after news about the tragedy in Crossroad Center held a news conference Sunday to mourn the victims and call for unity.

Now, the police are investigating the tragedy, its motives and ISIS’ participations. Too many things should be proven prior to qualifying this attack really ‘terroristic act.’ Minnesota residents feel very nervous, and St.Cloud’s people are mourning the victims.
