Sadiq Khan to Trump: We should be building bridges rather than walls

Sadiq Khan, a new London Mayor, gives a speech, in which he touched Donald Trump. The mayor criticized the Republican nominee for his aggressiveness and offer to build bridges, not walls.

London mayor calls for bridges in relations between different religious and ethnic communities during his visit to Chicago. Mr. Khan gave a speech at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, among other issues during the visit was to reassure and calm the U.S. investors. The business circles need to know that London is still open for business despite the confusion caused by the Brexit vote.

Surprisingly, Sadiq Khan condemned in his statement the burkini ban in parts of France. Probably, it was an advance to the Muslim community, say experts. In fact, Mr. Khan is the most powerful elected Muslim official in the Western world, so he couldn’t pass this moment in his speech.
