The head of US national intelligence estimated the chances for a truce between Russia and Ukraine

US Director of National Intelligence Avril Haynes said that the US at this stage does not see the possibility of reaching a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.

“You know, frankly, at this stage we do not see the possibility for both sides to come to a peace agreement, which I think is obvious to everyone,” Haynes said.
