Macron announced a new meeting of the “coalition of the willing”

The next meeting of the so-called coalition of the willing in Ukraine will be held on July 13, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Wednesday.

“Now we are experiencing a rapprochement between Europeans and Americans again, and this … should continue at the NATO summit in Ankara, and then at the meeting of the coalition of the willing in support of Ukraine and security guarantees, which we will hold on July 13,” he said at a press conference in Berlin following the E5 meeting (Germany, Italy, France, Britain, Poland).

Following a summit in Paris on January 6, the “coalition of the willing” agreed to continue long-term military support for Kiev, and the leaders signed a declaration of intent to deploy troops on Ukrainian territory in the event of a peace agreement.
