Bond producers to make Blake Lively ‘female-driven’ thriller

James Bond franchise is one of the most famous and commercially sucessful activirty in the world. Now, its producers want to make the female-driven thriller with Blake Lively.

The Shallows’ star Blake Lively reportedly is going to be a leading actress to the new project of Barbara Broccoli who is the producer of 007 franchise. Alongside with the preparation the next episode of James Bond saga, the 007 producers decided to make one more thriller. A female-driven, of course, Hollywood is full of feministic spirit these days.

Based on the novel by Britain’s Mark Burnell, The Rhythm Section will see her as a woman who becomes an assassin to avenge the deaths of her family. The greatest news that director’s chair will belong to Reed Morano, who directed the first three episodes of hit TV series The Handmaid’s Tale.

Bond producers about new thriller with Ms Lively

Blake Lively, one of the muses of Woody Allen, will be the part of the great team, so Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson said it was “exciting” to work with such a “talented” collective.

According to Ms Broccoli, both Morano and Lively have a strong vision for this very compelling story driven by a female protagonist. That is very important for the future movie The Rhythm Section, which is the first of four novels to feature Burnell’s Stephanie Patrick heroine, inviting the prospect of a Bond-style film series.
