12 people died in an accident with a passenger bus in the Turkish province of Yozgat, A Haber TV channel reports.

“In the Sorgun district of Yozgat province, a passenger bus flew into a ravine. As a result of the accident, 12 people died and 19 were injured,” the report says.

It is specified that the victims were hospitalized in the state hospital of Sorgun.

Yozgat Governor Mehmet Ali Ozkan, who went to the scene, said that an investigation is required to determine the cause of the accident. According to Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunç, it has already begun.
