US teens prefer e-cigarettes, the CDC found

Fewer US teenagers are smoking cigarettes, but another problem arises: much more teens now prefer e-cigarettes, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says in his the latest report (2015).

According to the annual survey report of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),  11 percent of US high school students have smoked cigarettes in 2015. In comparison with 2013, that number stood at 15.7 percent, and in 2011 it was only 18.1 percent. As we can see the number of tobacco-related teens decrease. BUT. The e-cigarettes are on the rise, and the modern teens prefer to vaping because finding it much lighter, nicer, and stylish in comparison with the tobacco stinky sticks.

This new trend on a vaping is a very disturbing moment for CDC, so experts on health care concern with new kind of addiction. In fact, the vaping and e-cigarettes are not a better idea for the young organism. But how to explain it to the kids and teens?

The annual CDC survey found that 24 percent of high school students reported using e-cigarettes during the past month. It’s the first time that question has been asked in this particular survey, so there’s no way to know if that’s changed from years before.
