Iran’s Rouhani urges people not to worry about vaccine

The Iranian leader Hassan Rouhani said on Tuesday that Iran will soon get the officially approved vaccine against the COVID-19. People of Iran have no need to worry about the vaccination, IRNA reports.

Iran has already submitted a request to the World Health Organization’s COVAX and paid for it as well and is also trying to purchase COVID-19 vaccine from other sources, so there is no need for the Irainans to worry.

Commenting on the governmental plans on mass inoculation, President Rouhani said Iran has done a great job and managed to reduce the corona death toll to less than 100.

On Tuesday, Rouhani stressed that over the past three years, the government tried to reduce the effects of the US sanctions, adding that it is not possible to bring their effects to zero. Unfortunately, Iran did not let the enemy reach what it wanted, Rouhani added.
