Kim Jong-un receives ‘excellent’ letter from Trump

Kim Jong-un praised the ‘excellent’ letter he received from Donald Trump. Its ‘interesting content’ made North Korean leader think of an “extraordinary courage” of his American counterpart, KCNA news agency reported.

The exchange of the personal letters between Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump revives the hope on the improvement of the relations between two countries. the most recent trump’s letter to Kim was just ‘excellent’, according to North Korean leader. He would “seriously contemplate the interesting content”.

“A letter was sent by President Trump and correspondence between the two leaders has been ongoing,” the White House spokesperson Sarah Sanders confirmed.

Despite the misunderstandings during Hanoi meeting in February, both Kim and Еrump are continuing to communicate with each other. In fact, the letter is the first major development between the leaders since then, but it is the symbol of the work on improving the relationships between Pyongyang and Washington.

Donald Trump and Mr Kim also had a phone conversation earlier this month. According to the US President, North Korea under Mr Kim’s leadership has “tremendous potential” because he is a “very smart guy”.
