Meghan Markle, New Zealand PM reportedly met up again at Kensington Palace

Meghan Markle and Jacinda Ardern, the New Zealand prime minister, have reportedly met for a private talk at Kensington Palace on Monday.

Following their initial meeting, the Duchess of Sussex welcomed New Zealand’s PM in the United Kingdom, according to royal expert Omid Scobie. Both women are vocal feminists, and Ms Ardern said though the balancing act was ‘sometimes a struggle’, it gave her an ‘insightful’ experience like that of millions of other working women.

On Monday, Duchess Meghan welcomed ms Ardern into her home at Kensington Palace where she was pleased to have the chance to thank Jacinda for the wonderful hospitality young royals received from the people of New Zealand during their tour in 2017. Prince Harry’s wife confessed she really “enjoyed chatting with ms Ardern on the tour” and that the feeling was mutual, continuing, Jacinda came away from her time with Harry and Meghan impressed.

Even though Meghan and Harry were only in New Zealand for a few days, Ardern met with them several times over the course of their stay. two young pro-energetic feminists, Meghan and Jacinda appeared to get on well when the PM welcomed Duke and Duchess of Sussex at an evening reception to celebrate the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in New Zealand.
