The Pentagon has named the amount of US spending on the operation against Iran

The cost of the US operation against Iran has approached $ 29 billion,  the acting head of the Pentagon’s finance department, Jules Hurst said.

“We think that number is closer to $29 (billion) now,” Hurst said at a House committee hearing.

According to him, this amount includes updated estimates of equipment replacement and repair, as well as the cost of delivering military personnel to the region.
