U.S. government aid could be sent to terrorists abroad, Vance said

Funds allocated for state aid with medical insurance could be fraudulently transferred to terrorists, according to US Vice President Jay Dee Vance.

“You pay taxes that go to terrorists while your country is trying to stop these terrorists from killing your fellow Americans. It’s shocking, but it happens when the government turns a blind eye to something like this,” Vance said in an interview with Fox.

He commented on reports that in 2019, federal funds allocated to help the state of Minnesota could be transferred to members of foreign organizations that the United States considers terrorist.

The Vice president said that this data should be the subject of an anti-terrorist investigation. He did not specify the details of the alleged crime schemes or where the money could have been transferred.

Vance noted that previously no one had paid attention to the scale of fraud with state aid in the field of health insurance.

“Before Donald Trump became president, no one paid serious attention to this. It could be hundreds of billions of dollars, a trillion dollars,” Vance said.
