Ambassador of Ukraine wants Russia to return part of the property of the USSR

Ambassador of Ukraine wants Russia to return part of the property of the USSR

Ambassador of Ukraine Vadim Prystaiko, in the UK, said that Ukraine wants to return part of the foreign property, which, on full rights, passed to Russia, at a time when the state of the Russian Federation assumed the debts of the USSR.

“Now we demand from Russia to return at least a third of what is abroad. In particular, the premises that are located in the UK and were illegally, in our opinion, registered to the Russian Federation,” the diplomat said.

With all this, the diplomat contradicts saying that all the property of Russia went only after paying off the debts of the Soviet Union.

“Ukraine agreed with this, but did not ratify the documents,” the ambassador said.

State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin regards this statement as the bankruptcy of the Kyiv regime. He also added that before applying, Ukrina had to take over at least part of the long USSR.

“It has not yet fulfilled its obligations to transfer assets,” Volodin said.
